Ever dreamed of a Tsavo East wedding? This was my first wedding in a safari park so when Stuart and Alison approached me I answered with a big YES! Having traveled to over 80 different countries, there is something special about hosting a wedding in National Park in Kenya. Tsavo East National park is the size of Israel so to find your perfect lodge/camp amongst the vast land that Tsavo is, would prove to be a difficult task. Stuart and Alison chose Ashnil Aruba Lodge which is nestled on the very popular Aruba damn, drawing the elephants alike to the watering hole to drink.

The couple chose to have a small intimate wedding adorned with the local Masai community to help celebrate their marriage. The bright blues and reds of the Masai’s Shukas created a striking element for photos and group shots. The elephants arrived in perfect timing to pose in the background for the couples photos and then move onto the watering hole to entertain the little ones.

Thank You Stuart and Alison for allowing me to photograph your special day and to be a part of a very special wedding in a very special location! All the best!
